| | Energy Beamed From Moon? | | Does this appear like madness?? According to David Criswell, a physicist and Space Age veteran, it could provide a clean, emission-free, and unlimited source of energy, sufficient to supply all needs of an energy-hungry world in the 21st century and beyond. Beaming power from the moon as exotic, but it has been done for at least 15 years; it is like using a big radar. A Lunar Solar Power System (LSP), using lunar materials has to be built on the moon to collect solar energy and convert it to microwaves, which would be beamed to a several thousand receivers around Earth. The microwaves would then be converted into electricity to be fed into local power grids.
Successful Earth-moon power beams are already in use. A radio telescope operating from the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico regularly uses a beam of microwaves to produce images of the moon. In principle it is perfectly feasible, but the problem is cost. The project will need a lot of people up there, and that will add to the cost.
But, we should be ready to enjoy this too.

| | How safe are we? | | On Good Morning America, I heard an interview that was scarry.It was reported that the nation's electrical power grid is within the internet(?) - and that China and Russia, and probably other countries, have TIME BOMBS out on these power grids, that could wipe out "all" of our electrical networks nation wide! That means anything that needs electricity to run would be disconnected.This man also said the Obama has known about this for some time, but because of the cost to re-structure the power grid from the internet, he has done nothing about it.Wonder why so many things that are so very important, have 'not' been included in the stimulis package??? Where is common sense within our elected officials?

| | Independence Day- A National Lie | | I woke up this morning thinking of the upcoming holiday here in the USA, Independence Day, The 4th of July.
I few questions ran threw my head and they saddened me as the truth of their answers sank in. I'd like to know what you think.1) Our independence from England is what we are celebrating and honoring. | | TV show 30 Days - Animal Rights | | Last night we caught the last half of the newest 30 Days where they had someone who was very pro-hunter and not concerned about animal rights, live with a family who was very pro-animal rights. They were PETA, but that IS NOT what this post is about. For you who are no familiar with the show,. The guy - Morgan Spurlock - who did the eating McDonalds for 30 Days and documented how eating it affected him started a show where either him - or someone he recruits - does something life changing for 30 days.The first episode of the season 2 people from New York City who were very un-econ-friendly went to live on a commune where there was zero power from the power grid, they grew their own food and the cars ran on bio-diesl. Oh, and no meat unless you killed it.Anyway, last weeks episode (#3 for the season) there was a part where they go into an animal shelter (this is where I tuned in, I wish I could have seen the entire episode) and there is a dog (grab the Kleenex) on a leash, the dog is VERY happy someone is giving him attention. | | lesson life taught ME??????????? | | I would like to share my experience,I was in a habbit of doing every thing at the eleventh hour.Once I had to go for an urgent meeting and had to prepare my presentation.as under my habbits influence,i had left everything for the end and that day,there was a power grid failure,i was not able to complete my presentation because of that my company has to bear a loss and subsequentlly I had to.
I got fired from my job.........
